About Shoba

Shoba founded a Christian Magazine Agape which was distributed in Malaysia for seven years. She has many short stories that have won awards. For Whom The Bell Tolls won an Honourable Mention in the International Human Rights Arts Festival 2021 out of 300 entries; Behind The Veil awarded Finalist in the SLO Nightwriters Golden Quill Writing Contest 2017.

These are only a couple of the her many award-winning short stories. Her novel Child Of Dust was a Finalist in the National Indie Excellence Award 2017. She is also a healthy chef, cooking many wonderful cuisine from produce she grows in her garden. She is a big proponent of fermented food and has a flair for making healthy dishes from both Asian and Western cooking. Shoba and her husband grow a lot of what they eat and practice sustainable living – living in harmony with nature and animals.

Shoba writes fiction and non-fiction. Her novels are fiction and her non-fiction are the Agape series, a compilation of short true stories and her cookbooks. Her first cookbook, ‘Kefir Ice Cream For A Healthy Gut’ will shortly be published.
